As an aspiring collegiate athlete from Dallas, TX, Jojo found it challenging to find quality recruiting opportunities and to meet coaches outside of California. Although she had the skills and potential to not only play in college, but to pursue a top D1 program at UCLA, Jojo lacked the amount of exposure that other athletes in water polo dense areas had.
When she discovered 6-8 Sports, Jojo realized that she could make her "biggest dream growing up" of playing at UCLA a reality. The platform and training programs opened doors that geography had previously closed, connecting her with the coaches and opportunities she needed to showcase her talent on a national stage.

Jojo is now a Sophomore on the UCLA Women's Water Polo Team and has reflected on how 6-8 helped her achieve her dream:
